I didn't get rejected luckily, but if I did I was ready to tell them that it was ok and to not worry. I listened and tried to let them talk for as long as they wanted. If they seemed to be struggling, I'd help them by asking another question or adding on to what they were saying. All my questions started with what, how or would. I did this so that whoever I asked couldn't reply with a quick simple yes or no. It meant they would have to try and answer more diversely.
